The Law of One vs History and Religion:
Yahweh, Moses, Akhenaten and the Martian Hyksos Theory

A topic I find extremely interesting that also happens to be discussed in the Law of One (Ra material) is the entity known as Yahweh and other characters in history like Moses (Moishe) and Akhenaten. What I’d like to do is compare and contrast the information Ra presents with other historical and religious sources to see if there’s a common theme taking shape.

The Two Yahwehs

According to Ra, the original “Yahweh” was of the benevolent or positively-oriented Confederation. This entity was likely a 6th density “social memory complex” or, in other words, a higher dimensional collective consciousness very similar to Ra (who is also 6th density). However, Yahweh was responsible for the genetic modification and cloning process of certain hominid species on Earth roughly 75,000 years ago, when our planet first began its 3rd density cycles (better known as cycles of human self-awareness). This modification and cloning was done to create an advanced mind and body capable of rapid 3rd density spiritual development for Martian souls that had lost the ability to incarnate on their planet due its atmospheric destruction, as Ra explains in Sessions 9 and 18:

9.6 The first of those to come here (Earth) were brought from another planet in your solar system called by you the Red Planet, Mars. This planet’s environment became inhospitable to third-density beings. The first entities, therefore, were of this race, as you may call it, manipulated somewhat by those who were guardians at that time.

9.7 The race is a combination of the mind/body/spirit complexes of those of your so-called Red Planet and a careful series of genetical adjustments made by the guardians of that time. These entities arrived, or were preserved, for the experience upon your sphere (Earth) by a type of birthing which is non-reproductive, but consists of preparing genetic material for the incarnation of the mind/body/spirit complexes of those entities from the Red Planet.

18.18 The purpose seven five oh oh oh [75,000] years ago, as you measure time, the changes subsequent to that time were of one purpose only: that to express in the mind/body complex those characteristics which would lead to further and more speedy development of the spiritual complex.

18.19 The characteristics which were encouraged included sensitivity of all the physical senses to sharpen the experiences, and the strengthening of the mind complex in order to promote the ability to analyze these experiences.

18.20 The Yahweh group worked with those of the planet you call Mars seven five, seventy-five thousand [75,000] years ago in what you would call the cloning process.

18.21 The ones of Yahweh were attempting to create an understanding of the Law of One by creating mind/body complexes capable of grasping the Law of One. The experiment was a decided failure from the view of the desired distortions due to the fact that rather than assimilating the Law of One, it was a great temptation to consider the so-called social complex or subcomplex as elite or different and better than other-selves, this one of the techniques of service to self.

Without citing too extensively from the Ra material, I’d like to include that Martian souls are not the only 3rd density souls here on Earth, there are many others, with minds and bodies that vary from the genetic cloning of Yahweh.

But now that we have some backstory, I’d like to fast-forward to roughly 3,600 years ago, to a time when the malevolent or negatively-oriented Orion group was able to make serious progress here on Earth by taking advantage of both Yahweh’s name and genetic work, as referenced in Sessions 16 and 24:

16.13 Approximately four five thousand [45,000] years ago an attempt (by Orion group) was made. It was not successful. Approximately two six oh oh, two thousand six hundred [2,600]*, years ago the group sent an entity of social memory complex to this planetary sphere. This effort met with some success but was in the space/time continuum lessened in impact. Since approximately two three oh oh, two thousand three hundred [2,300]*, years ago in your measurement this group has constantly been working upon the harvest just as the Confederation.

*Ra corrected these dates in session 17. They should be 3,600 and 3,300 years ago, respectively.

16.14 Questioner: Can you name the (Orion group) entity that they sent here twenty-six hundred years ago… two thousand six hundred years ago?*

*The correct time frame is 3,600 years.

Ra: I am Ra. This entity named by your peoples, Yahweh.

24.6 In approximately three six zero zero [3,600] of your years in the past, as you measure time, there was an influx of those of the Orion group, as you call them. Due to the increasing negative influences upon thinking and acting distortions, they were able to begin working with those whose impression from olden times, as you may say, was that they were special and different.

An entity of the Confederation, many, many thousands of your years in the past, the one you may call “Yahweh,” had, by genetic cloning, set up these particular biases among these peoples who had come gradually to dwell in the vicinity of Egypt, as well as in many, many other places, by dispersion after the down-sinking of the land mass Mu. Here the Orion group found fertile soil in which to plant the seeds of negativity, these seeds, as always, being those of the elite, the different, those who manipulate or enslave others.

The one known as Yahweh felt a great responsibility to these entities. However, the Orion group had been able to impress upon the peoples the name Yahweh as the one responsible for this elitism. Yahweh then was able to take what you would call stock of its vibratory patterns and became, in effect, a more eloquently effective sound vibration complex.

In this complex the old Yahweh, now unnamed, but meaning “He comes,” began to send positively oriented philosophy. This was approximately, in your past, of two— we correct this instrument— three three zero zero [3,300] years.

So we begin to see two different references of Yahweh: the original, and now the false Yahweh impressed upon peoples by the Orion group (this false Yahweh has also been called Yaldabaoth in certain Gnostic and New Age narratives).

And if we take the claim of 3,600 years ago from when the Law of One transcripts began (1981), we come to the rough date of 1620 BC. A very synchronistic occurrence takes place if we look to historical sources of what was happening in Egypt around that time.

Evidence shows that the Hyksos, a mixed Semitic-Asiatic group who infiltrated the Nile valley, seized power in Lower Egypt in the 17th Century BC. They ruled there, from 1674 BC until they were expelled when their capital, Avaris, fell to Ahmose around 1567 BC.

It is recorded that the Hyksos in Egypt worshiped the deity Set, known as a storm god among other things, but the Hyksos were not only residents of Lower Egypt, they lived in Canaan (Judah/Israel) as well, who’s customs and deities matched those in Phoenicia (Carthage) and Sumeria.

The Sumerian storm god was known as Ishkur or Hadad. The storm god of Phoenicia and Canaan was known as Baal Shamen or just Baal. In fact, the Yahweh of the Old Testament often refers to itself as Lord or LORD, and the Canaanite word “Baal” was also an honorific which literally meant “Lord.”

We also see that the Jewish god of the Old Testament, Yahweh, follows much of the same qualities as Set, Ishkur, Hadad and Baal. In Canaan, Baal was also known as Moloch (which meant “King”), and these deities were not simply venerated by the warlike Hyksos and others, but numerous accounts of first-born child sacrifice via immolation were done on their behalf. Worshipers of Yahweh were also committing child sacrifice, allegedly only during times of great hardship, but immolation was discouraged. Slitting the child’s throat was considered acceptable, however. The remnants of these sacrifices were interred at sacred sites like Tophet. And in Exodus, we find the biblical Yahweh unleash many plagues upon the Egyptians, including the death of every first-born child.

With all this in mind, a story begins to unfold if we integrate it with Ra’s statements mentioned above.

Hyksos, Ba’al, and Moses

The Hyksos (as well as other fanatical worshipers of Set, Ishkur, Hadad, Baal, Moloch, Yahweh) and all those of a clearly negative or malevolent quality (such as elitism and human sacrifice) can seemingly be attributed to scattered Martian descendants under the influences of Orion. On the other hand, the creation mythos of mankind found in Genesis (as well as in ancient Egyptian and Sumerian mythology) can be attributed to the original Yahweh. Another thing to note in Session 24 is that an Orion vehicle of some kind had functioned as an emissary during that time, often appearing as a fiery cloud in the sky:

24.12 This emissary was of your fiery nature which was hidden by the nature of a cloud in the day. This was to obliterate the questions of those seeing such a vehicle and to make it consonant with these entities’ concept of what you may call the Creator.

Was it this fiery cloud that inspired the storm-like nature of Set, Ishkur, Hadad, Baal, Moloch and Yahweh? A logical conclusion would seem so. But does this mean that all those of Martian heritage with an enhanced genetic disposition were susceptible to the negative influences of Orion? Not necessarily. The free will choice of each individual played a crucial role, as we see referenced back in Session 18:

18.24 The results of this interaction were quite mixed. Where the entities were of a vibrational sum characteristic which embraced oneness, the (genetic) manipulations of Yahweh were very useful. Wherein the entities of free will had chosen a less positively oriented configuration of sum total vibratory complex, those of the Orion group were able for the first time to make serious inroads upon the consciousness of the planetary complex.

So, even though the original Yahweh of the Confederation had well-meaning intentions for genetically modifying the Martian mind/body complexes, it was still a decided failure because, for the most part, it ultimately backfired. The Orion group was able to exploit the distortions of those who felt different and further cultivate biases of superiority, which fell to Orion’s favor.

Touching briefly on the occupation and expulsion of the Hyksos in Lower Egypt which occurred between 1674-1567 BC, we can now expand on these historical events and contrast them to biblical references. Another controversial story unfolds according to an “inversion theory” by certain historians (including Flavius Josephus) positing that the Hebrews escaping Egypt were none other than the Hyksos suffering expulsion; and that Jewish scholars from the 7th century BC had changed the narrative for political reasons.

Further changes were made to the identity of Ahmose, who was renamed as Moses (Greek) or Moishe (Yiddish) and repackaged as the leader of the Hebrew revolt rather than the pharaoh who expelled the Hyksos. Nevertheless, Ahmose was not the only historical character attributed to Moses, as there were others, including the Pharaoh Akhenaten and Mermose (Merymose), who was the Viceroy of Kush (Ethiopia) for Akhenaten’s father, Amenhotep III.

Mermose was known for his military victories against the Kush Kingdom, and according to historians, he took his army up the Nile to quell a rebellion and appropriate gold mining lands that would secure extraordinary wealth for Amenhotep.

In Jewish history omitted from the Bible, Moses led an army of the pharaoh into the lands of the Kush, and in the fortress city of Saba (Meroe) he married the local princess in order to lay claim to the lands. This marriage is confirmed biblically in Numbers 12:1, “And Miriam and Aaron spoke against Moses because of the Ethiopian woman whom he had married: for he had married an Ethiopian woman.”

Apart from Mermose, we can see just as many parallels between Moses and Akhenaten; after all, it was Akhenaten who had taken up his father’s task of ushering monotheistic dictates in Egypt from 1353-1336 BC (17 years), declaring all men of Egypt were children of Aton or Aten, associated with the sun disc formerly attributed to Ra, Osiris, Horus etc. All the old gods had now been merged into a singular living god by Akhenaten’s decree. He outlawed all idolatry (the use of any images to represent god) and outlawed the notion that there was more than one supreme god. Ironically, the sun disc was often symbolically supported by Isis and other deities amid the horns of a bull, and similarly, the Canaanite storm god Moloch was often shown as an anthropomorphized bull.

Historically, we can find many puzzle pieces coming together. And again, without citing too extensively from the Law of One, I will say that Ra has had a long-standing relationship with Egypt, going back all the way to Atlantean times, but what does Ra say about Akhenaten? Let’s take a look at Session 2:

2.2 In the Eighteenth Dynasty, as it is known in your records of space/time distortions, we were able to contact a pharaoh, as you would call him. The man was small in life-experience on your plane and was a… what this instrument would call, Wanderer. Thus, this mind/body/spirit complex received our communication distortions and was able to blend his distortions with our own. This young entity had been given a vibratory complex of sound (a name) which vibrated in honor of a prosperous god, as this mind/body complex, which we call instrument for convenience, would call “Amun.” The entity decided that this name, being in honor of one among many gods, was not acceptable for inclusion in his vibratory sound complex. Thus, he changed his name to one which honored the sun disc. This distortion, called “Aten,” was a close distortion to our reality as we understand our own nature of mind/body/spirit complex distortion. However, it does not come totally into alignment with the intended teach/learning which was sent. This entity, Akhenaten, became convinced that the vibration of One was the true spiritual vibration and thus decreed the Law of One.

However, this entity’s beliefs were accepted by very few. His priests gave lip service only, without the spiritual distortion towards seeking. The peoples continued in their beliefs. When this entity was no longer in this density, again the polarized beliefs in the many gods came into their own and continued so until the one known as Muhammad delivered the peoples into a more intelligible distortion of mind/body/spirit relationships.

From this statement, and from what was mentioned historically about Akhenaten, we can infer that although he was revealed by Ra as a Wanderer (soul from a higher density or dimensional reality) and was receptive to the Law of One, this philosophy was quickly distorted by Akhenaten into something overly dogmatic that was, at best, espoused by his priesthood superficially as the peoples kept to their polytheistic ways.

And how does Akhenaten compare with Moses (Moishe)? Let’s take a look at Ra’s responses in Session 16:

16.18 The recipient was one of extreme positivity, thus accounting for some of the pseudo-positive characteristics of the information received. As with contacts which are not successful, this entity, vibratory complex, Moishe, did not remain a credible influence among those who had first heard the philosophy of One and this entity was removed from this third-density vibratory level in a lessened or saddened state, having lost what you may call the honor and faith with which he had begun the conceptualization of the Law of One and the freeing of those who were of his tribes, as they were called at that time/space.

16.19 This was an intensive, shall we say, battleground between positively oriented forces of Confederation origin and negatively oriented sources. The one called Moishe was open to impression and received the Law of One in its most simple form. However, the information became negatively oriented due to his people’s pressure to do specific physical things in the third-density planes. This left the entity open for the type of information and philosophy of a self-service nature.

It appears that the story of Moishe is almost akin to Akhenaten’s. Conversely, Ra does not independently confirm that they are the same individual. There is no mentioning of Moishe being a Wanderer like Akhenaten, and Ra does not claim to have spoken directly with Moishe, as was done with Akhenaten. It even remains unclear if Moishe was ever in direct contact with the original Yahweh (though we could assume that was the case at one point), and yet Ra’s statement could indeed account for one of the other historical characters being attributed to Moishe, namely Ahmose or Mermose.

The Ten Commandments

Another controversial topic also spoken of in Session 16 is the Ten Commandments:

16.15 The origin of these commandments follows the law of negative entities impressing information upon positively oriented mind/body/spirit complexes. The information attempted to copy or ape positivity while retaining negative characteristics.

16.17 The purpose of the Orion group, mentioned before, is conquest and enslavement. This is done by finding and establishing an elite and causing others to serve the elite through various devices such as the laws you mention and others given by this entity.

16.20 Questioner: It would be unlike an entity fully aware of the knowledge of the Law of One to ever say, “Thou shalt not.” Is this correct?

Ra: I am Ra. This is correct.

It becomes very apparent that the tactics of the Orion group are to “ape” or mimic positivity in order to bring about their malevolent philosophy of service-to-self.

This includes the formation of a superior elite class that enforces “divine” edicts or laws, which in turn enslaves all others considered to be inferior. We can see these same tactics employed today. And while the Ten Commandments are not negative in and of themselves, the manner in which they are delivered works against the creative processes of the mind.

The idea of subconscious manipulation can work through language. Linguistic negations such as no, not, or never, are unintentionally ignored by the mind when followed by a certain word or phrase. So when a person is told, “do not steal,” or “do not kill,” or “never forget,” or “no more war,” the subconscious will simply focus on stealing, killing, forgetting and more war, inevitably contributing towards its manifestation in reality. These commandments were also well known in the Egyptian Book of the Dead as the Negative Confessions:

I have not robbed.

I have not coveted.

I have not killed people.

I have not told lies.

I have not trespassed… etc.

For every “I have not,” in the Negative Confessions, it is possible to read unexpressed as “Thou shalt not,” in the Ten Commandments, though there are much more Negative Confessions than there are Commandments.

In fact, Psalm 104 in the Old Testament is almost identical to the “Hymn to Aten.” It was the many parallels like these that caused renown psychologist Sigmund Freud to write his 1939 book “Moses and Monotheism” explaining that the Jewish faith had its origins in Atenism.

Historically, it was King Josiah of Judah in the 7th century (639) BC that was said to have pushed the “unification process” (religious and cultural reform in order for Judah to find identity and nationality for itself), which created the heroic concept of Moses by combining Akhenaten’s cult of Aten with Ahmose who expelled the Hyksos and Mermose who led the Egyptian army to great victories; Moses was ascribed with receiving the Ten Commandments in tablets of stone. In reality, these “spiritual moral codes” are an elaboration of the Negative Confessions.

The unification process had its benefits though, Josiah was credited with destroying the Tophet Temple (said to have been built by Solomon), outlawing the Moloch cult and child sacrifice, but the heroic slant put on history allowed Orion influences over concepts such as divine right and supremacy of race to take precedent in cultural biases.

And while Ra does not speak directly of the connection between Moishe and Akhenaten, we must take note that their connection was never directly asked by the questioner, so it remains somewhat open and unanswered due to the preservation of free will (also known by Ra as the Law of Confusion, or, the freedom to stay confused). All things considered, we can deduce that the same spiritual problem did occur for both characters, regardless of their connection. Common sense shows us there will always be errors in history and in religion. The many political agendas of the past sought to skew the truth for their own purposes, but the major take away is learning the methods of manipulation and control that are central the Orion group, so we don’t make the same mistakes that Yahweh, Moishe or Akhenaten did.

Without delving too far into the philosophy behind the Law of One, there is something to be said about the inherent folly that comes from admiring or venerating the creation (or creational scheme) rather than the source of creation itself (One and Infinite Creator). Higher density entities of a benevolent nature like Yahweh and Ra are players here on the creational scheme, just as we are, and while they try to help from their higher placement in the scheme, they are not seeking worship like higher density entities of a malevolent nature such as those of the Orion group, who desire power, subjugation and self-aggrandizement. The idea of a jealous, tribal and wrathful God demanding obedience is not consonant with a being in true alignment with the Law of One, nor the source of creation, and this becomes increasingly obvious the more we search through history and religion to compare it with honest spiritual and moral principles.
