Throughout the instructions provided in the Pentateuch seven has been a consistent number to use for completion of a cycle. Six days of creation and one day of rest, six years of working a field and one year fallow, seven Sabbath years in a jubilee are a few examples. Per the accounting of time in the Bible, from the creation of Adam to the second coming of Christ is a six thousand year period of man’s growth and attempt to self govern. Just as mankind is about to destroy itself , God steps in and takes over to save mankind and rule for 1000 years. At the end of this 7000 year PLAN Satan is released to help mankind put an end to himself.
If mankind is destroyed in the end, what is the purpose of the PLAN? This life is a school to teach people it is better to live for each other than to live just for self. This lesson is to be learned deeply within the soul to the extent that a person would die before benefiting his welfare at the expense of another person’s welfare. The souls which truly learn this lesson will be given a body that lives for ever and will join the Elohim (RESURRECTION/REINCARNATION). In short, God is recruiting a family selected from souls which incarnate on earth.
